How do you quit a job at McDonalds?

My brother is planning to quit his job as a member of the crew and has been working there for a half a year. How should he quit? Is a "letter of resignation" required? If so, what should this letter say?How do you quit a job at McDonalds?
this site will give u a guide line http://jobsearch.about.com/od/resignatio鈥?/a> hope it helps :-)
He needs to put in his 2 weeks. A letter would be more professional of him, and it will show that he has respect for the job. {Even if he really dont} Still want to show it. During the final 2 weeks, he needs to work hard, and go everyday that he is scheduled. That way if he ever needs to go back there for some reason, they will most likely hire him. That would be my idea on how to leave a job.How do you quit a job at McDonalds?
tell your brother to give the supervisor his 2 week notice. a 2 week notice gives his employer time to find a replacement and will give him a much better reference. he could just quit, but his supervisor could you that against him if called upon for a reference. have him say something like this,

"I'm giving you my 2 week notice. My last day of employment here will be on "June 23." My reason is (make it short and to the point). Thank you."
some one once told me, you treat your job like how they treat you. so if they treating him like crap tell him to go to the manager and say, "i quit" if not he can write a letter saying, "while he enjoyed working at mcdonalds, ive decided to pursue other goals. my last date of employment will be..."How do you quit a job at McDonalds?
