How can 15 and 16 year olds make good money besides a salary job like mcdonalds or food city?

Stock room in a nice retail store. Or you can start to prepare for next year: study the markets for investments. I know of a group of 14-17 year olds that study trading the markets and are quite good at it. Of course, you will need seed money from parents(who also need to be educated).
Why don't you make a website with adsense and kontera. If the website is good, it can make you much money each month.

babysitters [can] make amazing money. if you can find someone to babysit for who will pay you decent money and needs you consistantly or have multiple part-time clients/families... I did full time (Mon-Fri 6:30am-6:30pm) for 2 summers making between $300 and $400 a week (tax-free)! I was only watching one child around age 11 so we went to the water park, putt-putt golfing, etc. I had a blast and so did she. If you are good with kids, you should give it a try. The best way to try to find clients is to mention to a neighbor or parents or friend and then let the word of mouth do the work.. or you can make flyers/ads.

Hope this helps! :) Good luck with it!! :)

(p.s. I didn't have my first real, non-babysitting job till now, at age 18, almost 19 but I have more money saved up than most of my friends who worked regular jobs while I babysat. Just goes to show how good of $$ you can make)

Good luck again! :)
Do you drive, bike or live near enough a shopping center to walk? You could run errands for stay-at-home moms, the elderly or folks who just don't want to get out in the heat.

You could do party set-up and clean-up for people who aren't quite ready to hire a real caterer. How can 15 and 16 year olds make good money besides a salary job like mcdonalds or food city?
Landscaping, golf courses, video stores, cleaning pools
You can't, really...those are the only kind of places that will hire someone that young because they come with so many rules about how many hours they're allowed to work, etc. We all had to put our time in at a McDonald's-type job when we were your age, so suck it up...in a few years, you will have more options.
It depends on where you live. Here in Arizona, I cut grass every summer, and I made about 5 thousand ever summer, just by myself. So if there is 2 of you, you might be able to make even more than that. Start small, and then snowball it. Good Luck!
not sure where you live, but I know kid's around me who cut grass for neighbors and people in our town... and they get like $20+ per yard. If you can market yourself and get good business (2-3 yards a day) I'd say that's good money. Paid in cash, no taxes.
Having a wealthy, business-owning parent or a special skill (ie: a great singing voice or modeling contract) is ideal, but most teens are not so fortunate.

Landscaping can be a good idea. Any sort of manual labor ususally pays okay, but there's a reason for that. Manual labor can take a toll on you mentally and physically if you're out in the heat all day.

Don't jump ahead of the game and don't get discouraged. Keep your ambitions high and eyes open, but don't forget that 15 and 16 year-olds aren't SUPPOSED to make GOOD money. If they were, everyone wouldn't tell you to stay in school.
