Need some Tips on McDonalds Job Interview?

Ive recently applied for a job at McDonalds and have advanced to the next stage which is the interview, i want to know some side tips that will help me get this job.

Advice for Maccas' interview is the same as if you are applying as a brain surgeon.

*Take with you a professional looking folder with copies of your application letter, if you wrote one, and a ONE page well-laid-out RESUME.

*Look as if you are already working there - in the case of Maccas, that means superclean shirt with collar - white is good for food places - neat trousers, preferably not jeans, clean shoes. Controlled hair and clean face - shaven if you shave. Stubble is a NO for food places.Take out any visible studs or rings.Scrub your fingernails, they will look at hands.

*Being prepared as above, just take three deep breaths before you enter the interview room, which will slow your heart beat, and smile.

I agree with Gordon Brown. IckDonalds is horribly corporate and treats their people like numbers. And usually the managers are weasly losers with no power in their personal lives (most NOT all) and your coworkers are unhappy with management. Is this really how you want to spend 20 or more hours of your week. Maybe try finding work in a REAL restaurant.

On second thought maybe IckDonalds is the perfect place to start, since you already made it to the interview. From what I hear the pay is competitive. It might be a good place to gain experience (even if its only what NOT to do) In that case you've gotten plenty of good advice with your question.

What shifts can you work?

What shifts can you not work?

Tell me about your last job?

Why did you leave your last job? (if you had one before..and you got fired or quit) Tell the person honestly it looks better but also say I realized why it didnt go so well and I am prepared to do this to ensure this job is a sucess for you and I...U can also use it as a weakness and say Hey I am working on it
ok i have a couple tips for you



1. if ur hair is long cut it

2.just be yourself (unless that is a bad thing)

3.look nice but not too formal

4.wear axe or something u don't want to smell

As long as you don't have two heads you should be fine.
The best advice i can give you is.. Dont go!



While the hell do you want to work in McDonalds.. you only live once!!!!
