What to say when you quit a job at McDonalds ?

I have only been working there for a few months , BUT i hate it ! The people are rude and i can not stand the working conditions,

I want to call in and say my dad got a job somewhere else and i have to move away ? Is this a good idea to lie ? If not, what should i say ?

Also can i just call in or do i have to put in a letter ?

Please Help !What to say when you quit a job at McDonalds ?
It's McDonald's

be honest...no biggie

Just tell them this isn't the place for you. They will perfectly understand. They will actually be impressed you had the decency to be honest
Always be honest with your employers. Talk to your boss and tell them you don't know what the proper protocol is, but you want to quit your job. If they ask you for reasons, then honestly say you don't like the working conditions and the people are rude. They can't hold you hostage in your job, so just be honest. Also, ask if you can use your boss as a future reference. If they say yes, then that can help you land a future job. What to say when you quit a job at McDonalds ?
I agree with others that say you should be honest and tell the truth. Just tell them that this job isn't the best fit for you, but you appreciate the opportunity to work for them while it lasted. Ask your boss or a co-worker if they would consider giving you a reference though as it is always very important to be able to leave on good terms. To me it would be better to write or type a letter and hand-deliver it. This is far more professional and classy than calling in and saying that you are quitting %26amp; not coming back.
There is absolutely no need to lie.

Just say that you can no longer work there, if they ask why just say personal reasons.

I am assuming you're a teen and only under casual employment so you are under no obiligation to write a resignation lettter and you don't even have to give two weeks notice. What to say when you quit a job at McDonalds ?
a simple short letter would be good, and give them 2 weeks notice.... i know it would feel really good to leave now, but you must think of your future.. if you leave them on good terms, you can grab the managers telephone number for a refference... you will be a whole lot better of having their phone number
The best thing is to say like it is. Say that this job is not for you. Also you can list the things you don't like in this job. This is not a big deal to quit a job and go for other one. good luck in your future job career.
just tell them you got new commitment , like school starting or you just took up piano lesson lols ~

else just say you prefer KFC
just tell the truth. tell them whatever you want. make sure you have another job first. yeah so since whatever you say doesnt make a difference.. right?

oh yes.

dont lie.
say you're a vegetarian %26amp; you can't stand being around all those burgers anymore
give them a two week notice. there is such a high turn over at fast food jobs they will not even miss you. but also understand that people and work conditions are everywhere...there is no escape.
Just say, you dont like the conditions and the way your treated, so i want to resign.
If you wanna quit then just quit, its not like they can stop you so there is no point in lying
It doesn't matter what you say, say this job sucks and leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Walk straight up to your boss and say his McNuggets suck!
Take your fries and shove them
just say what's yer reason :)

they'll understand you
