Stuck on Mcdonalds job application form?

I have just left school and I'm applying for a job in Mcdonalds because I really need a bit of money.

I'm applying on their uk site and I came up to the references section.

it says 'Please provide 1 personal and 1 business/academic reference'

How do I get a reference?

Please Help!?Stuck on Mcdonalds job application form?
Get reference from your teachers.
I would imagine that a personal reference could be from someone who has known you for a long time - not a friend of yours but could be one of your parent's colleagues who knows you. Business/academic reference needs to be one of your teachers from school.

At this stage, it is courtesy to ask the person first if they will be happy to give you a reference. Have a word with your teachers as they will probably get loads.Stuck on Mcdonalds job application form?
For the personal reference just put down someone that has known you for a while, like maybe a year or so. no family!!!(or same last names of coarse)

For business/academic reference put down someone you've known in the workforce for a while, or a teacher you know would talk good stuff about you.

just remember to get these people's permission before you put them down, and its McDonalds, do you really think there gonna check?

anyway best of luck on your job hunt.
Name a good friend or neighbour or anyone that knows you well to write a personal reference for you.

Name your teacher as your last reference for the academic question

also it would not hurt to name the head teacher of the school .

that's all you can do at this stage so good luck with your job search.Stuck on Mcdonalds job application form?
a personal reference is a friend or family member. business/academic is a previous employer or teacher. it is polite to ask the people you are going to use first good luck on your app.
A friend of one of your parents can be the personal reference, a school teacher can do the academic one
Get someone who knows you but isn't family to write one and get a teacher from your last school to write another one.

Good Luck hun.I hope you get it.
Put your head of year's name and number down (your school's telephone number)
