Actually, it commonly takes well over a month to be contacted. Almost everyone I know at the two Walmarts where I've worked weren't contacted for an interview for 2 or 3 months after submitting their application. Now is a good time of the year to start a retail job. Think of how many people submit Walmart applications...all of them are ahead of you for whatever position you are interested in. Thankfully, during the fall Walmart is doing a lot of hiring for the holiday season, but it could still take a month (minimum) or two before they get to yours.
