Do they check your age when you apply for work at mcdonalds?

I am Currently wanting to apply for a job at mcdonalds.

I am 12 and i do look well around 14 15, And the legal age in florida to work at Mcdonalds is 14. My real question is do they check your birth certificate...Do they check your age when you apply for work at mcdonalds?
Florida does not require a work permit but they will ask you to provide two forms of identification (birth certificates, Social Security card, school ID, passport) to make sure that you are a citizen and able to work in this country, so yes they will find out.
Yes. They can get in trouble otherwise. There are plenty of other jobs you can work at. If you look into working at a smaller shop and have your parents permission then you can start working. They do anyway, it's because your aiming at too high a business company. Try the local stores owned by "the parents", they don't have to really check and you can still make minimum wage doing the same things.
