Well i got a job at mcdonalds and well friday and saturday are my training days?

and on the schedule the manger didnt put me down to work, do i still go in?and if i do is this something to be mad or embarassed about?Well i got a job at mcdonalds and well friday and saturday are my training days?
Absolutely.
stop saying "well" so much or you'll lose your job anywayWell i got a job at mcdonalds and well friday and saturday are my training days?
Ask the manager why you arent on the schedule if you are supposed to be there. The scheduling manager may not haev been told you were training those days.
b coz u just got the job, u r not yet on the schedule, so just go b coz its trainingWell i got a job at mcdonalds and well friday and saturday are my training days?
Just call him and say that you wanted to clarify your schedule. Tell him you noticed that you weren't on it for the training days, and ask if it was a mistake, or if they don't schedule you officially, on days you're training.
I worked at Mcdonalds sadly for 4 yrs. All through my high school yrs. After ur training days if the manager still didn't put u on the schedule to give u days then ask the manager when he/she wants u 2 come in again.
go in n buy something to eat n while u r wating for the food ask the manager
looks like you gonna be working for free.

i will avoid that place until they get the kinks you cause, out.
you still should show up and I'm sure he will put you on the schedule after your training. Don't be mad or embarrased, it's probably just the way he does things
if you possibly can, show up. it shows initiative. even if you were not scheduled they may find something for you to do. mad or embarrassed? i think not. being unemployed is a lot more worthy of your anger and embarrassment. good luck.

p.s. managers at mcd. wind up making pretty good money.
ever think about asking???
you could always call, but chances are if they didnt put you down to work, dont go because they have scheduled enough staff already, and if you come in, it will make it disproportionate.

what I am saying is this, there is a certain amount of sales expected within a certain amount of time, with those figures a manager schedules their staff, so the number of necessary employees are figured, and scheduled accordingly. So if you come in, it could unbalance things, and if there were less sales than expected, it would throw things even worse.

You may be viewed as incompetent for coming in, though honestly that is doubtful, if you do it the right way, it will more likely look like you want to work.

but I would call first, and call early. not at rush times, ie, 6am, 9am, noon, 6pm.

I was a manager at a McDonalds for 2 years....
DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS!

Go In. Tell whoever asks that you're supposed to be training and you will show better willingness and availability which managers of any business appreciate.

Good you asked, because the only stupid question is the one that didn't get asked!

Regardless of what occurs, be pleasant and smile. It makes a really good impression. (You can always be mad at home!! hee

hee)
You should call the manager and mention that you weren't on the schedule, and you thought that Friday and Saturday were your training days. So, you wanted to just touch base to see if that was accurate, or if the dates had changed.

There is nothing to be mad or embarrassed about. It could just be a simple misunderstanding.
Nope. assert yourself...show your enthusiasm...report and ask politely what happened , not to ask what happened that he did not let you report. ask him when you are scheduled to report and that you are ready for the job already...Manifest a convincing personality that it will not give a "fresh" impact on yourself too...remember you want the job, so what are you waiting for,,,,,,,,,move and don't think any negative things ok?

good luck!!!
