Would I be able to move out and support myself with a full-time job at McDonalds?

I'd be a "team member" so not a manager or anything. Bottom of the food chain. Obviously I wouldn't be living in luxury, but could I do it?Would I be able to move out and support myself with a full-time job at McDonalds?
You would have to take into account all your overheads. That includes, but is not limited to, rent/mortgage, bills (gas, electric, water, council tax (or similar), phone), food, travel expenses to and from work, food whilst you're not at home, any dependents (pets, children etc).

I tend to live by a general rule of thumb - If my overheads are half, or less, of that of my income, I justify living there. For example, if I earn 拢1200 in a month, and all my overheads come to 拢600, I'd do it. I'd easily spend another 拢300 on amenities, and try to save 拢300 for a deposit on a mortgage.

Although I don't think you'd be bringing in that kind of paper on a McDonald's fast food chain wage.

tl;dr - You'd be slumming it, but yeah you could.
Like the answer above me figure out your monthly pay, your expenses and where you live also depends. Find out the rents but also you may want to consider doing a roommate or renting a room to start to be sure you can afford to live on your own. Good luck with everything and know once you have enough experience at McDonald's you can always check other places and move up to management. Good luck again with everything.Would I be able to move out and support myself with a full-time job at McDonalds?
Maybe. It just depends on what your expenses are.

If you have a car payment, credit card bills, etc... it is going to be harder. You could get things like food from a food bank and shop for clothes at Goodwill.

The best thing to do would be find a roommate, at least for the first year. I hopefully you can get some overtime too. Also try to save at least 3 months worth of rent up before moving out. After your first year at McDonald's, start asking about promotions.

If you young and just looking to get out of your parent's house, look into Job Corps or the military. Everyone needs at least some vocational training and Job Corps can train you to manage a restaurant, if that is what you want. And the military could help you deveolp leadership skills. Just weigh your options and don't make any choices while your angry.
youd have to budget everything out, rent, food, bills, petrol, and so on to see if you could actually do it. its a big responsibility because you must think about all the stuff that could happen if you loose your job and so on, but all the best! and good luck if you do decide to do it!!!!!! :)Would I be able to move out and support myself with a full-time job at McDonalds?
First, check out how much it would "cost" to live on your own. Do this on a monthly basis. Then, figure out how much you take home each month. If the numbers look good then give it a try. But, make sure your job is secure. You don't want to move out and then lose your job in 6 months.
