As if they're in never ending supply.
People can also be overqualified.
Companies don't want to hire you if you're just using them until you get a job you're qualified for.
Everybody thinks they're entitled to these jobs or something?
I'm sick of people telling me that I need to go get a McDonalds job until I can get another accounting job paying $50,000/yr. Not everybody who's unemployed can just go get a minimum wage job.Why do people think everybody can always fall back on low-wage no-skill jobs when you lose your job?
...agree, that's why i went into business for myself and hired family and friends for tax purposes...
I know! I'm in college looking for a summer job and couldn't find one. I was told I was "overqualified." Ummmm, ok, but I'm underqualified for others at the moment so where does that leave me? Plus, they really aren't in abundance. I have quite a few friends that couldn't find a job for the summer. Why do people think everybody can always fall back on low-wage no-skill jobs when you lose your job?
Maybe they are getting two jobs, like one at mcdonalds and another one at a different company.
it really depends but of course, you are right and the people who think that way are weird and I'm very curious how they got that high paying job in the first place if they don't know this stuff.
You never know until you try and having a job cleaning toilets is better than having no income at all. Would you rather be a whiney bum, setting around complaining because you cant find the job you want? I mean, I know where you're coming from but assuming anything is not good. There are still people out there somewhere who are looking for legal citizens to work, who refuse to sell out and take advantage of illegals. I know they're few and far between, but they're out there. And even just *looking* is better than setting on your a** doing nothing. Why do people think everybody can always fall back on low-wage no-skill jobs when you lose your job?
i dont know but it seems like the illegals are having no problems finding work.
