I have already applied to malls and brand name stores. Like H%26amp;M, McDonalds, neighborhood grocery stores, etc. These are all popular places for people to get jobs (McDonalds and other big fast food chains are included because people realize how hard it is to get a job). What are some salary jobs I could get in NYC with no experience that arent popular?

Most of the time night jobs and overnight shift jobs are less competitive.
