It's better than the minus number of jobs under the Bush administration and the downward trend when President Obama took office. The tax cuts for the wealthy don't seem to be working too well in creating these vast numbers of jobs that Republicans claimed they would. Extending those tax cuts seems to have had no effect.

Getting the economy out of the declining mess that Republican policies left it in and into a sustained recovery is a struggle that President Obama is continuing well, despite determined Republican obstructionism.

Corporations are reaping record profits but that is not translating into sufficient numbers of jobs, at least not in this country. Efforts by Democrats to halt outsourcing are opposed by Republicans at every turn. For months all we kept hearing from conservatives that people should at least get a job at McDonald's so they aren't a drain on resources. You finally get your wish and you're still not happy? They got jobs. That's what you wanted.

In April we had 190,000 FEWER people working than we had in March, according to BLS, thus PROVING AGAIN that the smartest Democrat in the World doesn't understand what "more" or "less" mean.
