I am 18 years old. Have an expired green card which i plan on renewing. But during the time its expired can i work at a job like mcdonalds. Yes you can, but if they ask to see proof of legality, you need to show them SOMETHING%26gt; If your Green Card is in the process of renewal, what you can do is make an appointment w/ Immigration using www.uscis.gov and go to Infopass, make an appointment to go to the nearest Immigration office and get an I-94 provisional residency card. You'll need to bring a passport size picture for that and bring proof that your green Card is in the process of renewal (I-90 Notice of Receipt)
