why r ppl complainin about jobs an age discrim when i see old people working at walmart, fast food and other entry level service jobs they are overqualified for?

Because their companies kicked them out because they made too much money, hired youngsters at a much lower rate. Older folks are working at McD's and other entry level jobs so they have a job to help pay their bills, Admire them for not collapsing and going on welfare and unemployment until they collect social security. And how much do they make??? Can YOU live off of a salary like that? I bet NOT. And another thing, those jobs are FULL, because so many people had to take them out of sheer NEED. It's not like there are McDonald jobs like that are just waiting around to be filled. They're not, ... they're TAKEN. Others having made life choices that led them to work fast food at an advanced age shouldn't affect the general population.
Americans have this bad habit of blaming everyone and everything else but themselves for their problems.
